About the event:
Many Universities are exploring partnerships with other institutions within
the communities in which they are based- but how does this work in
practice .The programme will cover
General aspects of partnership working,
The INSPIRE project in Yorkshire and Humberside
A new joint cultural facility between Lincolnshire Libraries and the
University of Lincoln Library,
Electronic licensing for an expanded user group (JISC)
Working with local schools and sixth forms
Supporting Higher Education Summer Schools
Who should attend:
This event will be useful for all library and resource centre staff who
would like to find out how they can work effectively in partnership with
others in order to raise their profile and add value to their community.
Cost:
£40 per person (plus VAT), including refreshments. A limited number of
free places for Library and Information Studies students are available.
