The distinction between the "edginfo" and "edguser" accounts was a start
to get independent services run by separate accounts, so that the one
cannot accidentally kill the other or mess with its files, and to better
contain potential security incidents. Since the transition from EDG
through LCG to gLite had to be gradual, we still enjoy the presence of
such obsolete names in various places. We had bigger things to fix...
