Subject: IEA Forum @ the e-Assessment Question 2008
e-Assessment Question 2008 Conference and Exhibition, London, 12th/13th March 2008
We are delighted to announce that the final programme for this conference has now been announced and is attached.
Among the most important activities at this year's conference will be the Institute of Educational Assessors (IEA) 'Question Time' forum of leading experts and practitioners on the 13th March. A panel of five senior figures will address issues raised by the chair (Kim Catcheside, BBC Education Correspondent, Radio 4) and the audience. The panel to be John Guy (Farnborough Sixth Form College), Geraldine Kenney-Wallace (City and Guilds), John Kerr (Edge), Niel Mclean (Becta), Martin Ripley (21st Century Learning).Interested in hearing the panel's views on subjects as diverse as accessibility and inclusion, standards, regulation, public concerns, technophobia in education and training, integration with e-learning and administrative systems, security and confidentiality, cost effectiveness, quality, e-portfolios, impact on qualifications and staff and many others than email your question to [log in to unmask] and join us by registering at www.e-assessment-question.co.uk
Innovation is a challenge, and innovation in assessment and learning is no different. Now in its sixth year, the e-Assessment Question is the conference and exhibition examining the practical aspects of the use of technology in assessment from the classroom to the workplace; from computer based testing to e-portfolios. The fee for the conference is £250 per delegate per day plus VAT, discounted by 20% for delegates from schools, colleges and universities. We trust that you or one of your colleagues will be able to join us for what will certainly prove to be an invaluable and thought-provoking event
