Subject: [BBC-HISTORY] Colonel Briton WWII
Could anyone help, please? A friend and colleague would like to more
about a wartime BBC presenter who called himself 'Colonel Briton'
(Britain? Britten?). He encouraged occupied peoples in WWII to put up
V-signs (V-for-victory).
If anyone has any suggestions about where she might find out more she
would be very grateful.
Best wishes
