Statistics in Risk Assessment: Applications, Advances and Challenges

The Department of Mathematical Sciences of Durham University and the Risk
Analysis team at Central Science Laboratory, York would like to invite you
to a seminar day on 19th March 2008. The aim of the day is to stimulate
discussions about currents methods and issues in risk assessment and
potentially form research collaborations between organisations. To this
end there will be lots of time for discussion and a poster session where
participants can discuss their work and research. Please see

Risk assessment of the shellfish toxin monitoring programme in Scotland
A buffet lunch will be provided for all participants.
Anyone from an external organisation is asked to pay a small contribution
of £10 on the day.
Everyone is encouraged to bring along any posters they have of relevant
research that they would like to display. If you intend to bring a poster,
please send the title, author(s) and a short abstract with a .pdf version
of the poster to [log in to unmask] before 1st March 2008. A
document containing all the posters will then be distributed via e-mail
before the day. Please also state in your e-mail if you have any special
dietary requirements.
If you are not bringing a poster but would like to come, please let us
know by e-mailing [log in to unmask] and stating if you would
like to join the buffet lunch and if so, any special dietary requirements
you have.
