three Swiss units jointly funded by the Swiss
National Science Foundation and the University Hospital of Bern.

investigators of the University of Bern and collaborating institutions.
European Correspondent for CTU Bern
The European Clinical Research Infrastructures
Network (ECRIN) programme has been funded by the
EU and is designed to support trans-European
clinical research projects and bridge the
fragmentation of clinical research in Europe
through the interconnection of national networks
of clinical research centres and clinical trials
units. ECRIN will allow the conduct of
multinational studies in Europe, taking advantage
of the European population and competencies,
unlocking latent expertise and patients scattered
across the member states. Currently, the network
covers 12 European countries. For the
coordination of ECRIN activities in Switzerland,
CTU Bern is looking for an European Correspondent.
Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
· Managing and Coordinating the ECRIN activities at the Swiss network level
· Provision of support to national and
multinational clinical research projects
· Participation and support in the activities of
the different working groups and of the ECRIN
management Office, in particular in:
- Development and update/upgrade of the Quality Assurance system
- Facilitating the training of national staff
involved in multinational studies
- Management of pilot projects within the national network
Key skills & experience for this position:
· University degree or equivalent
· Understanding of clinical research methodology
· Experience in international settings
· Excellent skills in English communication,
presentation, organisation and client relations
