Multivariate Statistical Process Control (MSPC) - 22, 23 and 24 January
2008 at Newcastle University
This popular course on Multivariate Statistical Process Control is being
offered on 22, 23 and 24 January 2008 by CPACT and ISRU.
As industry moves quickly to respond to customer demands it is becoming
increasingly important to ensure fast and assured process development
and manufacturing and the early warning of potential process faults and
non-conforming operations.
This course introduces the multivariate statistical process control
tools required to build data based models for process performance
monitoring and process diagnostics.
CPACT is recognised as an international leader in the development and
application of plant performance monitoring and process diagnostic
techniques. ISRU is a well-established applied statistics unit using
statistical thinking for solving problems since 1984. Early ISRU work
included quality improvement projects in ICI using statistical
methodologies such as designed experiments and statistical process
control. The later adoption of the more all-embracing six sigma approach
allowed ISRU to attain break through advances in large and small
companies. The combined experience of CPACT and ISRU underpins this
course.
