My client a highly successful and popular financial brand in the UK with a 
strong global presence, seeks a Data Quality analyst to join a dedicated 
team working as part of a wider analytics division.

Job purpose
Highly knowledgeable in the field of data quality, data management and 
data dictionary practices you’ll additionally use your expertise in data 
quality software such as Informatica IDQ to monitor and improve data 
quality and provide a database management service to meet the demand for 
data warehouse services and business intelligence be it from the wider 
analytics team or the business users directly.

Key Duties & Accountabilities:
•	This Data Quality analyst role will have you involved in all 
aspects of Data Quality analysis including:-
•	Initial data auditing and profiling 
•	Identification of Data Quality issues such as data integrity 
problems, inaccuracies, duplication, incompleteness, etc., across all data 
capture sources / market channels 
•	Accountable for the creation and implementation of data quality 
improvement plans
•	Liaison with the business to develop Data Quality improvement plans
•	Taking responsibility for initiating change
•	Ensuring analysts have quality data to work with
•	Managing the Data Dictionary
•	Co-ordination of data warehouse service issues
•	Ideally knowledge of ETL processes

Key skills & experience required:
•	Upwards of 18 months experience in a similar role; more 
experienced candidates can command more
•	Sound knowledge and experience of Data Quality software / modules 
such as Informatica, Trillium, Ascential Data Stage,  Business Objects 
Data Integrator, Oracle Warehouse Builder or DataFlux.
•	Sound knowledge of Data Dictionary practices
•	An analytical and numerate mind set and an eye for detail
•	If you have knowledge of the financial sector – great! If not this 
is a great opportunity to get training.

In the heart of the North West, this role is commutable from 
Merseyside /Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales, Cheshire, etc. Those from

Salary: Negotiable up to c.36K depending upon qualification, skills and 
experience
