Role: Biostatistician
Location: Reading area, UK
Working hours: 37 hours pw
Remuneration: £36,600 - £43,000 + 10% Bonus

They are seeking an experienced Biostatistician to provide a comprehensive statistical service for the Company and be responsible for all statistical aspects of the clinical trials to which they have been allocated.
Role and responsibilities include:
* Design statistical studies for the analysis of clinical trials; formulating the hypotheses and objectives
* Provide a statistical quality control service while studies are in progress
* Assess the impact on the statistical analysis of changes made during the study
* Perform the statistical analyses of clinical trials and answer statistical queries on the analysis or results
* Ensure that the case report forms capture the data in the format most suitable for the statistical analysis
* Decide with Project Team which subjects will be included in relevant analysis
* Makes decisions regarding statistical matters and recommends improvements to statistical procedures and processes
Education and experience:
* Educated to degree level in statistics or mathematics, experience as a medical statistician and hold an MSc/PHD in statistics
* An overview of Oracle Clinical structure and processes
* Knowledge of SAS and current statistical guidelines in Europe and the US
* Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Experience in report writing
