absolutely Ben, the legitimacy of Robert's collection methods is also very
open to speculation (he did of course go to jail for 6 months for stealing
books, many years ago) and I wasn't criticising dealers - hell no, yourself
and another dealer have both been immensely helpful to me when I had to
dispose of my own library.... much of which I bought from yourselves in the
first instance, so to criticise that same process would be most hypocritical
of me; no, I was just remarking on how sad it seems when a lifetime's
collecting disperses in a few fell swoops
and agreed to, re the new life angle!
