Absolutely true, but Robert's collection was born of the death of
others. It has been suggested (by me) that, if the truth be known, the
totem animal of bookdealers is probably the vulture. Thankfully our
supplies usually derive from the demise of outlooks rather than
incarnations. There is some broader justification for our existence
though. The redistribution of items involves them being brought to
people's attention and examined afresh.
