East Anglia have been using an electronic PRF for some time. WiFi
transmitted from the ED area, usually completed retrospectively, 4 pages
long, inaccessible unless you have a computer smart card (only a handful of
people do), therefore almost never seen. This has been a retrograde step
but is part of the CfH programme locally, and is therefore bombproof.

Subject: Electronic Patient Report Forms
Hello all,
Does anyone have any experience of ambulances sending their patient
report form (PRF) ahead of their A&E arrival by some form of
communication or telemedicine? Is this practice the norm anywhere in
the UK or Ireland?
Thanks,
