Hi - a bit last minute but would anyone be interested in presenting a
paper in a potential session on Materialities of Urban Surveillance at
the Royal Geographical Society / Institute of British Geographers
Conference 2008, at the end of August, in London.
This session will deal with the intersection of surveillance studies,
geography, planning, architecture and STS (and more) in considering the
material sociospatial relations around surveillance and social control
policies, systems, technologies and practices in the city.
If you are, please contact me by Friday 25th January with contact and
affiliation details, a suggested title and an abstract.
