Hello,
I am using probtrackx and have a question about the distance correction
flag. The website says, "the connectivity distribution is the mean length
of the pathways that cross each voxel". Does this mean that the value of
each voxel in the resulting connectivity distribution is scaled in some way
with respect to the number of steps from the seed? Does this change in the
multi-mask, waypoint mode? I am looking at the inferior fronto-occipital
fasiculus and not getting any connectivity distribution for some subjects
and was wondering if the distance correction would help with this problem
(I am using multi-mask, waypoint mode, 10K samples, using all of the other
default parameters) .
Also, my DTI resolution is 2mm isotropic and the step length is set at .5mm
- should the step length match the DTI resolution?
Finally, if time is not an issue, would you recommend using the modified
Euler streaming mode?
Sorry for so many questions!
Thanks for any advice!
Best,
Ryan Muetzel
