I haven't read Rob Ixer's article on Sark however Nick Lafolley's is pretty
good although it is largely based on the Mining Journal (caveat emptor!); he
does list most of the commonly available historical references. I and some
colleagues from the Trevithick Society are half way through recording Sark's
Hope Silver Mine and a local gentleman is doing a lot of research on the
Mine's history, such as there is (the cost books still exist). The results
of the survey will hopefully be published next year (assuming that we finish
this year...) and there should also be a more historically based publication
available some time later.
