Hi Daniel,
Perhaps our algorithm for MRI guided stereotaxy using point based
registration can help you, see the following paper:

Good luck,

Onderwerp: [SPM] purely landmark-based registration?
Hi all. I need to register some brain images that have very
impoverished structural information (a variety of images ranging from
bad CTs to hand-drawn sketches). My instinct is to find a purely
landmark-based approach, but I'm open to alternatives. Can anyone
recommend software (or code snippets, or even just descriptions of
algorithms) that will help with this? The end result need not be
restricted to affine transformations, and I'm willing to experiment with
different methods to see what produces the best results.
Thanks in advance for any help.
