The principal aim of the INSC is to provide a scholarly environment
conducive to promoting exchanges between an array of disciplines to
facilitate research and related academic activities in collaboration with
colleagues worldwide.
The topics covered by the conference include applications of nonlinear
dynamics theory and techniques to problems encountered in any area of the
behavioral, social and life sciences including psychology, sociology,
economics, education, management sciences, anthropology, art, biology,
physiology, ecology, neurosciences and medicine.
Contributions from other disciplines such as computer science, mathematics
and engineering are also welcome provided the main focus of the paper is an
application of nonlinear science in the behavioral, social or biological
sciences.
Submit abstracts for papers, posters, symposia, to

Averaging in Macroeconomics
Gottfried Mayer-Kress: Nonlinear Dynamics of Motor Learning
William Sulis: Emergence, Cognition, and Collective Intelligence
Irina Trofimova: Coupling of Measurement Characteristics in Psychological
Diversity

More Special Events:
UMART Demonstration Session: U-Mart is an interdisciplinary research and
education project of a virtual futures market on computer for engineering
and economics. It connects the server and the client via network to play the
virtual futures of the market trading game. Itayose and Zaraba methods for
price determination will be demonstrated.
SERVICE SCIENCES: Kazuyoshi Hidaka (IBM Research Laboratory, Tokyo)
addresses the application of agent-based technologies and complex system
theory for service industries and their computer networks.
