RECORDS MANAGER

Applications are invited for an experienced Records Manager to ensure
records management good practice throughout the University and to enable
the University to comply with its legislative obligations.
You will possess a good honours degree, a relevant professional
qualification in Records Management and/or Archive Administration (or
equivalent), experience of implementing and managing records management
systems and a sound understanding of legislative compliance issues.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential to this
post, as is the ability to take a strategic overview of the institution
and assist in policy planning.
You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive records management
programme to the University, governing both paper and electronic records,
and embracing the current and semi-current phases of the records life-
cycle. The implementation and further development of a high quality and
robust programme will require you to be equally familiar with traditional
methods and modern technological solutions.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 7 scale (£34,260 -
£40,909 per annum) with placement according to qualifications and
