BTW, reading Terry Castle's article in the LRB about Steiner and her
protection by a fascist in 2WW made me wonder about the responses of
Western artists to the various middle east crises. It's all a lot more
complex now. One thing I do note: Iran - the worlds 3rd largest
oil-producer - has started to trade oil in Euros. I think an invasion
is on the cards, possibly in the spring. This will be madness.
