interesting how I keep bumping into the notion that people can be
'known' or 'met' or even identified just by putting their name in
google. seems a bit like cutting to the chase, bordering on rude;
wouldn't the person, when asked who he or she is, offer any internet
sources about themselves that they considered relevant? or they could
be asked for such addresses after an even cursory introduction.
I'm also puzzled at the sly tone of the paragraph quoted above, which
I may just be imagining.
