For anyone going to EGU 2008 (European Geosciences Union, Vienna, Austria, 13-18 April 2008), or looking for an excuse to go to EGU 2008, the two sessions appended below would be excellent opportunities for integrating disciplines, especially for presenting a vulnerability perspective on disaster and risk issues. Despite the language in the session titles, there is active interest in drawing in people who would not normally attend EGU in order to foster debate on improving connections amongst different perspectives, particularly promoting vulnerability issues and vulnerability research. The abstract submission deadline is 14 January 2008 and abstract submission is via http://www.cosis.net/members/meetings/programme/view.php?m_id=49&p_id=308
