AGM proceedings from 4.00 pm
This event, with no registration charge, is offered to all those involved in
UK higher education and research especially BUFVC members,
representatives, service users and associates, who wish to find out more
about the BUFVC¹s current activities and future plans. It will take place
in the well-appointed auditorium of NFT3 at the BFI¹s South Bank Centre.
Following registration at 10.30 am attendees will receive:
* a guided tour of the BFI Southbank Centre with Geoff Andrew (NFT
Programmer, BFI Southbank) taking in the Mediatheque, Gallery, Mezzanine and
Atrium
* a preview of material entered into the Learning on Screen Awards 2008, in
advance of the formal judging process taking place in January 2008
* a free copy of the new BUFVC Handbook 2008
* a BUFVC Services Overview and Update with demonstrations of new online
deliveries and work in progress, followed by an informal discussion and the
opportunity for questions
This will be followed by the BUFVC Annual General Meeting 2007, which we
very much hope you will join us for. We would like as many of our member
representatives, users and contacts to join us for this short meeting, as we
complete the process to appoint and elect members of the BUFVC Executive
Committee (Board of Trustees) under Articles of Association which were
revised this year.
