Forwarded on behalf of a colleague:
Hi,
Here at Wolverhampton we offer a live chat facility using QuestionPoint.
The service is available 56 hours per week during term time:
Mon-Thu 12noon - 10.30pm
Fri 12noon - 6pm
Sat/Sun 1.30pm - 5.30pm
We call our service ASSIST, and you can try it at
www.wlv.ac.uk/lib/assist. It was launched a year ago, and we now handle
about 50 chats per week. The response from our students has been very
positive, and we anticipate building on this success.
Please contact me if you would like further details.

Subject: Live Chat
Hi,
Would colleagues be kind enough to indicate who offers a live chat
facility? If so, which service do you use and how many hours a day is
this live. If you've stopped this service, we'd be interested to know
why? If people are interested, we can summarise our findings.
