Hi Janet,
You don't say what kind of materials you want to manage using your
repository. The replies you've had so far assume e-print collections.
I would recommend emailing [log in to unmask] too, but
would also recommend the CETIS Metadata / Repositories Special Interest
Group email list: [log in to unmask]
If you are looking at managing multi-media or complex materials such as
learning objects, alongside eprints, articles, or any other digital
materials, you may like to look at learning object repository systems
such as ours: intraLibrary. You are more likely to find users of such
repository systems on the above-mentioned two lists than on LIS-LINK. I
don't want to turn this into a sales pitch as that is not what you've
asked for, so please email me off-list if you want any further
information. I am a librarian despite my non-librarianly job title!

> What software do you use?
> What do you think of it?
> How easy is it to use?
> What do you use it for?
> How much content do you have in your repository?
> How much does it cost to licence the software?=20=20
