Vacancy: HEA-ICS LIS Coordinator
A Coordinator is required to support the library and information science
(LIS) service which forms part of the Information and Computer Subject
Centre (ICS), funded by the Higher Education Academy (HEA). The post is
largely an advisory and facilitating role, working with, and providing
support for LIS academic staff nationally to encourage innovation and
promote best practice in learning and teaching. The post holder will be
based at Loughborough University but will also be expected to work closely
with the lead site at University of Ulster.
A Masters qualification in Information and Library Science or similar and
two years experience of working in the sector is essential. In addition
you will need good IT skills, the ability to prioritise your own workload,
good oral and written communication skills and an interest in higher
education.
Salary: £25,134 - £32,796 per annum
