News from Annali d’italianistica (www.ibiblio.org/annali)
Volume 25 of Annali d’italianistica on “ Literature, Religion, and the
Sacred,” with 20 essays and about 150 pages of book reviews, will be
shipped shortly to all subscribers. As for previous volumes since 1998,
the journal’s website contains the table of contents of the volume, the
introductory essay, and the entire section of book reviews, which are
downloadable. The Editors of Annali would like to thank all contributors
for their contributions and all subscribers for their support.
Volume 26, 2008, will be devoted to “Humanism and Post-Humanism,” with
guest-editor Professor Massimo Lollini (University of Oregon).
Volume 27 will deal with Futurism and avant-garde movements on the
centennial of the first manifesto of Futurism (1909-2009). Guest editors
will be Professors Luca Somigli (University of Toronto) and Federico
Luisetti (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). The announcement
of both volumes is available on the website (Upcoming volumes).
A new list of books to be reviewed will be circulated electronically at
the beginning of the new year.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the colleagues and
supporters of AdI, all over the world, happy holidays and a happy new year.
Buone feste e buon anno a tutti.
Dino S. Cervigni
