By looking at the out put or what other? I must be sure that it works  
properly!

What I still don't understand is why it restarts twice. Please have  
alook at the logs content (below at the end of message): it started  
with slice 1 on Dec 18 19:01, a second time on Dec 19 15:50.  There  
are 2 bedpostx_preproc files and 2 pids but ONLY ONE series of  
log001:64 files

The command.txt, xfm and bvec/bvals were created Dec 19 15:50, thus at  
the beginning of the SECOND loop!

The command line was (Dec 18 19:01):
bedpostx /mnt/hgfs/Windows/VISIONCHIM/DTI/${subject}/bedpostx -n 2 -w  
1  -b 1000
/usr/local/fsl/bin/bedpostx
