Dear all
I hope this email finds you well. This is my last email before Christmas and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely festive season. However, before you go into full festive mood, take this opportunity to submit your January 2008 contributions so that we will start the new year with a bang!!!. The Disability Studies Association e-newsletter (in association with the Research Institute of Health and Social Change, Manchester Metropolitan University and Breakthrough UK Ltd) therefore requests your contributions for the January newsletter (10th edition) due first week of January, 2008. Thanks to all who contributed to the December newsletter. As always the case, this network relies on your regular monthly input.
You can provide details on news on forthcoming publications, conferences/seminars you are attending or hosting, funding opportunities of interest to disability researchers; news from local and national government, international disability that you would like to explore with
interested others, disability studies teaching materials and resources, links to new policy and user consultation, etc...
When submitting contributions, remember the following important points:
A. To provide in your email information categorised in terms of your institution e.g. News from the Research Institute of Health and Social Change, Manchester Metropolitan University - Activities of the disability studies team at University of Northumbria.
B. To provide your contact details, just in case people need to contact you.
C. To make the email simple text without loads of formatting for ease of putting together
Looking forward to receive your contributions.
Once again, have a Merry Xmas and a Prosperous New Year!!!!!
Best wishes
Tsitsi
