Thanks Kate,

Could you pass this info onto Andy Turner from TVU who is also at the
conference at Durham.

I am still a bit puzzled, what we have done here in one particular case
where we are getting an error is slightly differ to the route Nigel
shows is that we have created a menu item called Reflective Blog and
then in this item we have added a blog (rather than tool) from the drop
down list. Same thing?

So now if we upgrade what do we need to do? Do we still re establish the
link somehow?

Hi Najib - this is right - it's been frustrating for us having to
recreate the menu items when we've upgraded. However, I have a db query
that identifies which modules have LX tools on menu, what menu position
and the name link, so we can recreate the links for staff after an
upgrade. Also, we are promised by LX that after the latest version this
will no longer apply (we've been complaining about it) but I'm here in
Durham and Zahara is here with the LX team so I'll check that is still
the case.

Hi Najib

If you have a course level blog with a direct link on the course menu
(created through Modify Course Menu > Add Tool > Add Blog / Journal)
then this direct link will disappear. At that point, the blog is still
available via the Course Tools menu. To get the direct link back,
instructors just need to add the link to their Course Menu again (as
above).

Best wishes
Nigel

	Hi,

We are using BB 6.3 and are experiencing a problem with Campus
Pack blogs, staff member set up a blog which is now giving n error. We
escalated this to BB support who advised to upgrade Journal LX.

We are using Jounal LX 2.7.13 and will be up gradring to
2.7.16.7984

Reading the upgrade (upgrade to ver 2.8x) guide by Learning
objects there is a paragraph which says:

	* All Journal LX content remains in the system during an
upgrade. There is no need to do anything to any Journal sites or their
content.

	* If a link to the Journal LX tool existed in the course
menu prior to upgrade, the link must be re-created after upgrade. The
content that existed in the tool prior to upgrade will be accessible
after re-creating the link

I just wanted some guide on what link is being talked about?

	Any help welcome.
