TEI'08 - Call for Participation - http://www.tei-conf.org <http://www.tei-conf.org/>
From Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st of February 2008 the 2nd international conference on Tangible and Embedded Interaction (TEI'08) takes place in Bonn, Germany.
**************************************************
* Early Registration Deadline: January 8th 2008 *
* Online registration is now open: *
* http://www.tei-conf.org/registration.html *
**************************************************
The conference presents novel and innovative research in the field of tangible and embedded interaction. In particular, it addresses HCI issues, design, use context, tools and technologies, as well as interactive art works. The conference also includes interdisciplinary work across these themes. The accepted papers, which are listed below, will be published in the ACM Digital Library.
We are proud to announce that Prof. Hiroshi Ishii from MIT Media Laboratory will be the keynote speaker. Among other positions, he is Professor of Media Arts and Sciences, a co-director of the Things That Think (TTT) consortium and head of the MIT Tangible Media Group. His work highly influenced the field of tangible and embedded interaction from the beginning and we are looking forward to his keynote.
The program and schedule are available at:
http://www.tei-conf.org/program.html
The online registration for the conference is online at:
