Dear Rosemary,
The best option would be to contact the National Archives. They have a service for depositors, and about a year ago when I enquired, I was given the name of Norman James. The email address is [log in to unmask] tel No 0208 392 5330.

Subject: Architectural slides looking for a home
Dear Colleagues
One of our researchers is looking for a home for several thousand slides of buildings and architectural features in France, Italy and elsewhere in Europe, dating from the 1970s-1990s. He used them to illustrate lectures to architecture students, but now no longer needs them. So far, he has been unable to find anyone who can make use of them, but is reluctant to throw them away. If anyone has any ideas of any suitable new home, I'd be glad to pass them on to him.
