Hi,
I was wondering at what percentage you can call something 'bronze'. How much tin
is needed to call it bronze? Are there agreements on this, especially for the
archaeological record? In general bronze is made out of around 10 % tin, but in
the archaeological record tin percentages vary a great deal. What are the
margins to still call it bronze?
thanks,
Maikel
