Hi All
We have had problems in the past because being a specialist public
health library we have to do searches on sexual health issues, which
lead to 'Cannot open...adult content etc'. When IT were questioned about
this, I was told that if I gave them the url of the site I wanted to
view they would unblock it. I asked how I could assess if a site
contained useful information if I couldn't open it and how I could do a
comprehensive search with a multiple site result if I had to phone them
to unlock each individual link ! They would not budge from this stated
policy - so I gave up. I just have to go with the sites they deem are ok
and hope I am not missing too much of any import. Very frustrating.
