I've just installed - from scratch - lcg-CE 3.1 on SLC4 using latest
production YAIM.
/opt/glite/etc/gip/plugin/glite-info-dynamic-scheduler-wrapper
works quite happily as root, but gives
2007-12-06 14:40:20 lcg-info-dynamic-scheduler: VO max jobs backend command returned nonzero exit status
2007-12-06 14:40:20 lcg-info-dynamic-scheduler: Exiting without output, GIP will use static values
when run as either edginfo or edguser. Both the latter are ADMIN3, and
I've even added localhost to maui's ADMINHOSTS without success.
But making /var/spool/maui/maui.cfg world-readable does indeed allow the
information publisher to work.
So is /var/spool/maui/maui.cfg supposed to be generally readable, or have
I got some other glitch lurking in my system?
Thanks
Henry
