Thankyou everyone for your very helpful and interesting comments about the
Gardasil issue. I'm glad I put up the original question.
I guess then that the consensus is that charging our registered patients for
it is a no-no... but that it ought to be given free "if indicated." So the
next question (unless people feel I am making mountains out of molehills..)
is "what makes it indicated?" If the national vaccine programme is planned
to provide the vaccine in the future to someone asking for it today then
surely they qualify as being in the "indicated" group now and ought to have
it on NHS. I suppose that is using the CMO / DoH 's definition of the
vaccine group to say it is indicated though.....
Thoughts?
Again, apologies if you think this is a dead horse being flogged.

What I was trying to say in my obtuse way is that Sir Graeme will not
be able to punish Graham for breaking NHS rules while he is working
within the Australian system where they do not apply.

You mean I must cease and conceal all my wicked activities before
embarking upon my glittering international career?
You're no fun anymore ! ;-)
