Members may be interested in a piece newly posted to the website of The
Atlantic magazine, which published its first Kipling story in 1891.
The article, by David Barber, is entitled "Who Was Kipling?" and I found it
doubly interesting for its hypertext links to several Atlantic essays about
RK and reviews of his work, going back more than a century. These include a
1936 selection of Edmonia Hill letters and diary entries; this material is
mentioned by biographers but I, for one, had never seen it before.
