Call for Nominations: IMS Global Learning Consortium Learning
Impact Awards 2008
The Learning Impact program is facilitated by the IMS Global Learning
Consortium (IMS) for the purpose of recognizing outstanding applications
of technology that address the most significant challenges facing the
global education and training industries."
JISC CETIS encourages colleagues from UK Higher and Further Education
who have showcase examples of JISC funding being used to address such
challenges through technology to view the award criteria at
http://www.imsglobal.org/learningimpact2008/awards.html and to address
expressions of interest via JISC CETIS in the first instance. The
deadline for nominations is 31st December 2007, by which time a
submission addressing the evaluation criteria must have been submitted.
As JISC is a contributing member of IMS, represented by JISC CETIS,
there is no fee due for nominations submitted using this process.
Organisations that do not fund JISC may make a nomination on their own
account but will be required to pay the fee unless also IMS members.
