Dear Art,
Many thanks for your offer of secure spaces on Eduserv Island for our
pilots.
I asked lectures to make their own arrangements, therefore you might be
contacted by them directly. However, I would like your advise about another
presentation we are preparing for our Teaching and Learning Network (TLN)
(http://www.ucl.ac.uk/learningtechnology/tln/) here at UCL.
One of our TLN sessions is about Second Life. The session will be held on
Thursday 20 February 2008, 3-5pm and we would like to stream this
presentation through SL as you did with the 'Eduserv Foundation Symposium
2007: Virtual worlds, real learning?' I attended the 'Virtual worlds, real
learning?' back in May when it was streamed through SecondLife.
Is it possible that we contact you (or anyone else??) for advise in setting
this up?
Also is it possible that we use any (or all) of your three virtual venues at
which you streamed the symposium?
These were the following:
The Virtual Congress Centre on Eduserv Island.
The auditorium on Cybrary City.
The outdoor teaching space on NMC's Teaching 2 island.
Once again many thanks for your offer.
Best wishes,
Athina
