Maybe traditional, but not very common ...
ldapsearch -x -h lcgbdii02.gridpp.rl.ac.uk -p 2170 -b o=grid
'gluesubclusteruniqueid=*' | grep SMPSize | sort | uniq -c
40 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 1
1 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 16
279 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 2
1 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 32
43 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 4
1 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 64
4 GlueHostArchitectureSMPSize: 8
(The 64-CPU cluster is grid9.mif.vu.lt, I'm not even sure where that is
- Latvia?)

There may however be some interest from other VOs in knowing the real
situation ... I can see the logic in this kind of thing but it also
inclines me to despair, because the implication is that it's pointless
to try to fix things which are broken, the best we can do is break
something else to compensate!
