We are using SPM5 and have set up automated batch analysis scripts to
analyze the data sets obtained from individual subjects for an fMRI scan
that consists of 711 acquisitions of 23 slices each. We discard the first
acquisition from analysis which leaves 710 for relignment and subsequent
processing. We have noticed that we get 710 relignment txt files labelled
rp_aimage001.txt, rp_aimage002.txt.... all the way to ....rp_aimage710.txt.
This confuses me as it seems that we should get just one realignment txt
file for all 710 acquisitions as the scan is conducted as a single session
of 710 acquisitions. Shouldn't we get a single relignment txt file?
Thanks very much for your collective wisdom.
