Hmmm. I can't discover exactly what is reactionary here. Is it that the
Bard is boring or that there is some secret covenant to produce sly right
wing productions of Pericles? Or is it that the money might be better spent
elsewhere? Vegetable orchestras?
I wish that they would have awarded a lot of the money towards productions
of August Wilson's plays. So, is that the point? Agree with that.
