I was at a friend's house today. we were looking out the window at the
fine day, then we went outside for less than 5mins; when we came back
& looked at the window again, it was 50% darker. and within ten
minutes it was PITCH black. this was at around 15:45, i.e. quarter to
four pm. finnish wintertime.
