The University, College & Research Group (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Branch) and the Colleges of Further and Higher Education (CoFHE) Mid West Circle would like to invite you to attend their autumn event, 'Return to SENDA: reviewing and improving library services to readers with disabilities'
A full day in which to consider how we can review and improve our services to readers with disabilities in the HE and FE sectors.
Speakers will include representatives from the RNIB, DANDA (Developmental Adult Neuro-Diversity Association), CILIP, Oxford Brookes University, Henley Management College and ARACU (Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit) at Oxford University. During the day opportunities to take a tour of the Assistive Technology Suite at Oxford Brookes will also be made available.

Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided for full day delegates.

* Liz Osman, Librarian, Henley Management College will be talking about disability access in Cambridge College libraries, and the wider implications

* Ruth Harris, Disability Librarian, Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit (ARACU), Oxford University: 'Return to SENDA, I need another format...' a talk on the Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit at Oxford University, its production of alternative formats and how this helps with SENDAand the new Disability Equality Duty

around the Assistive Technology Suite led by Caroline Moughton, Equal
Opportunities and Diversity Co-ordinator at Oxford Brookes
