Hi *,
can somebody please explain why such a nice substructure in
http://linuxsoft.cern.ch/EGEE/gLite/R3.1/ has been introduced? IMHO this
only makes sense if you just put rpms needed by a specific service in
it. Example:
glite-BDII: why is there an lcg-CE package in
http://linuxsoft.cern.ch/EGEE/gLite/R3.1/glite-BDII/sl4/i386/RPMS.release/ ?
When mirroring the site every rpm get transferred multiple times! Why?
Wouldn't it be enough just to have all SL4/32bit rpms in one repository?
E.g.:
http://linuxsoft.cern.ch/EGEE/gLite/R3.1/sl4/i386/...
Cheers,
Andreas
