Assuming your licence is the same as ours, you are able to provide OS maps outside the council providing they show the specified copyright statement and providing that the OS is only used as a background to locate council data. The one thing that you mustn't do is provide clean OS maps.

Subject: Ordnance Survey Maps
Dear All,
I'm trying to find out what is being sent to contractors, consultants, general public etc. in regard to maps for HER searches. We have been told that West Sussex County Council have an Ordnance Survey Licence for internal use only so I can't send out maps with my HER searches. I know that it may be possible to send out maps with watermarks but I think this is still in breach of our licence.
Does anyone else have this problem, and if so how do you get round it?
Any help on this issue will be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Rachel
