That is not my of concern TBH.
The whole point of private medicine is that you as a patient have full
choice in whom you see and how. You then, and quite independently of
that may make your own private financing arrangements for this level of
care, which might include partially or fully cover by insurance.
The role of a GP is unconnected to those private financial arrangements
and really should take no reference, particularly not to whether you as
a GP have similar arrangments. In fact one could even argue that such
considerations regarding your own BUPA insurance fees are potentially a
serious COI - and unlike the similar COI wrt NHS and taxes, it is not
covered by a national concordate of any sort.
