That seems to be the problem! The protocol seems to be the way the data
passes between the router and the ISP but IE does not seem to be able to
work out that that is the preferred means of access. The router seems to
be fine, it is just the way the data passes to and fro- as far as I can
tell.
Not sure what a network key is - I shall check the LAN settings in IE.
Away to fiddle again.
