again.

American Express Worldwide premier plus, around £280 a year, covers me
for up to 4 months abroad (vital for medical cover while working in
Canada because I am never there long enough to get Medicare cover), plus
family, plus winter sports. I reported my pre-existing condition
(depression) and had no bother at all with that. I have also read the
policy several times (trying to claim for flight delays and such like)
and found nothing weird or wonderful in the line of exclusions in it.
I agree a lot more expensive than a policy bundled with a credit card
but for my purposes, perfect. And I forgot to mention, it saves me on
insurance for hire cars in Canada also, to the tune of recouping the
policy cost in a matter of weeks.
