Subject: Explosives and oxidation
Is anybody aware of any robust explosive limits/ranges for explosive
compounds in soil (such as those identified in the EA document P5-036/01)?
Also, has anybody found a lab that can undertake the EU tests recommended
in the WM2 Hazardous waste document such as A14 - explosive properties or
A17 - Oxidising properties. Risk of oxidation seems to get flagged up
wherever I find chromium or sulphates of unknown species and none of the
labs I've contacted seem able to undertaken the test.
Many thanks for any help!
Chris
