journal of the Society for the Study of Childhood in the Past.

 

There is an opportunity to submit papers on any aspect of ancient childhood 
for the first issue of the Society's Journal, Childhood in the Past  - by 
the end of January (for Sep '08 publication).

 

The Society for the Study of Childhood in the Past was created in October 
2005, when it was noted that, although numerous researchers are undertaking 
work in the field of past childhood, there is a major problem with the 
dissemination of the results of this research. This new journal aims to 
fill this lacuna, and is international and multidisciplinary in scope. As 
well as full-length original research papers, it will publish short reports 
that present important preliminary observations from work in progress or 
report major new discoveries; it will also publish book reviews.
